Always Intel Core I7 8700K Max Temp References

35C And Sudently Scatter To 42C.

I bought a desktop from hp with an i7 8700 cpu. Anybody else seeing this with their 8700k's? Seems like i fixed it, sent an adaptive voltage of 1.2 and now its running at 68 c during bf1 with 1.15 volt.

Cpu Core Temperatures Were Around 80C To 92C Most Of The Time.

I have a haf 932 case with tons of airflow, cinebench max temp 73c, p95 (no avx) max temp 84c. These are the average temperatures i get: Voltage degrades cpus not temp.

Core Temperatures Below 80°C Are Ideal.

Looking at our power consumption and performance graph, we see a bend at ~4.8 ghz. I'm overclocked at 4.9ghz at 1.29v not delidded, on a aorus gaming 7 board. You can take a look to all your processor's specifications here:

Based On 689,060 User Benchmarks.

My old 8700k delidded with liquid metal pro and same mobo, case, fans, ram, etc and aio needed 1.315v, delidded with coollabs ultra liquid metal, idled at 33c with gelid gc paste between ihs and aio. Activation of the processor's thermal control system may cause performance loss as the processor typically reduces frequency and power to prevent overheating. Frequency is typically measured in gigahertz (ghz), or billion cycles per second.

I'm Doing Some 3D Rendering Stuff.

Here's the nominal operating range for core temperature: Core temperatures increase and decrease with ambient (room) temperature. Hello, i recently buy an i7 8700 [non k] with the stock intel cooler.
