I never had such a powerful graphics card hence did i never witness a cpu limit, my old cards were always running at maximum. Playing gta 5 i noticed quite a few drops in both gpu clock and load.

I have an i5 2500k and a gtx 970, and the game runs buttery smooth at 60+ fps, however when i press esc to open the settings or the map, it is incredibly laggy. I don't want to turn down my settings because that's not. So my cpu usage is very very high, am running it with a 1070 which is at 50% usage.
